DAY 1:Airport to Negombo
Our staff will be there to warmly welcome you at the Airport & pick up and stay in a Luxury Hotel close to Negombo beach. (Distance 5 Km from the Airport)En route gampaha Botanical Gardens .Next day we will start around 8:00 from your hotel and we proceed to the Adams peak, on route we visit a rubber plantation. DAY 2: Negombo to Adams Peak
Around 08:00 in the evening we start climbing the Adams Peak. The climb takes 2½ to 4 hours. The first signs of dawn comes around 5.15 and sunrise is usually between 5.30 and 5.40.Buddhist pilgrims climb the 2245m (7242ft) high mountain to honor the legendary footprint of Buddha. Approx. 300.000 pilgrims visit this place a year. Sri Pada means "holy footprint". To the Hindus the mountain is holy for another reason: they call it “Shivas Peak ". Christians from the old Indian Church think that the apostle Thomas have lived there during his mission in India, and the Muslims call it "Adam's Peak" and interpret the footprints as those of the first man.
